Holding our Faiths In Tune festivals at the British Museum and the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery is also an important opportunity to highlight the sacred context of many of the objects on display and encourage museum visitors to see the museum's collections "through faith glasses".

We are inviting representatives of different faith communities to contribute to the festival programmes by offering personal guided tours through thematically suited galleries or giving talks on items on display that are of relevance to their own faith, thereby offering a personal and new perspective, informing and educating about religious art and customs, and allowing for open, accessible conversations on the museum's collections and the sacred and cultural context of exhibited items.
